The church is located in the center of the village of Cherche, Rohatinsky district, next to the village council. The temple was built by Fyodor Balanda, wooden, cruciform in plan, with two domes - the third dome was destroyed by the wind at the end of the 18th century. Nearby is a stone temple, built in 1790, partly at the expense of the former landowner Countess Branicka and parishioners. Nearby is another wooden temple - St. Basil's Church.
