The Armenian Church is located in the city center next to the
Ivano-Frankivsk City Hall. It was built in 1763 in the Baroque style. Due to its color, the church is popularly called Blue. The interior of the temple is distinguished by beautiful wall paintings and an abundance of wooden sculptures. Since in Soviet times the museum of religion and atheism was located here, the appearance of the church was not damaged. Now the temple belongs to the Greek Catholics and is called the Holy Intercession Cathedral.
