The Drobitsky Yar tract is located on the southeastern outskirts of the city. There is a memorial complex in memory of the victims of fascism. In total, about 20 thousand people, mostly Jews, were shot at Drobitsky Yar. The memorial complex, completed in 2005, includes a 20-meter obelisk, a menorah sign (a golden seven-barreled lamp, one of the symbols of Judaism) and a mourning hall with a Cup of Sorrow.
