Kharkiv Dolphinarium, one of the largest dolphinariums of the Nemo national network, was opened in 2009 in the city garden named after. T.G.Shevchenko. It consists of two pools, one of which is designed for dolphin therapy and diving with dolphins, a spectator stand for 1000 seats, an oceanarium with freshwater and marine fish and a terrarium where crocodiles and snakes, spiders and chameleons live. In addition to dolphins, fur seals and sea lions, as well as white whales, live here.
