Ukraine, Hlukhiv
The apple tree-colony has been a botanical monument of nature since 1998, included in the "Seven Natural Wonders of Ukraine". It is a colony of 15 interconnected related trees with an area of about 1000 sq.m, which has developed over more than 200 years from one parent trunk. A unique feature of the apple tree is its ability to independently root with branches that become trunks - gooseberries and currants reproduce in a similar way.
The apple tree is located on the territory of the former estate of the princes Meshchersky. The tombstone of Peter Meshchersky, found in 1959, was moved under the apple tree. Bioenergetics have proven that the energy of the apple tree rejuvenates people, if you stand for a while, leaning against its trunk, back pain disappears.
