The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Genichesk is located on the only hill among the endless Taurian steppes. The shrine was erected in 1907 in the spirit of Byzantine architecture. The temple has a characteristic cruciform shape for Christian buildings. A semicircular dome rises above the sloping roof. The vestibule is crowned with a two-tiered bell tower with a golden tent. The walls of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin shine with blue and white colors, which amazingly complement the blueness of the Sea of u200bu200bAzov.→
