Azovo-Sivash National Natural Park is located in the Kherson region, on the spit Biryuchiy Island and in the north of Sivash Bay. It was transformed from the Azov-Sivash Reserve in 1993, and to this day it is one of the most important corners of the Sea of u200bu200bAzov. Many representatives of the fauna listed in the Red Book of Ukraine live on the territory of the park. Among them are 12 species of birds, 5 species of insects, as well as rodents and reptiles.
The area of the Azov-Sivash Natural Park is more than 52 hectares, and now its territory is gradually expanding.
