The Donetsk Regional Art Museum is located in the center of the city on Pushkin Boulevard near Mertsalov Palms. It was founded in 1939. The museum's collection includes about 15 thousand exhibits - paintings, sculptures, graphics. A special place is occupied by a collection of antiquity objects, as well as a collection of Russian painting of the 19th-20th centuries.
