Donetsk Botanical Garden is located in the eastern part of the city on the border with Makiivka. It was founded in 1964 as a research institute. About 5.5 thousand plants grow on 203 hectares of the garden, many of which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. Exciting excursions are organized for visitors to the botanical garden.
