The Krol House is a mansion built in 1903 for the merchant David Krol. This is one of the few buildings in the city, made in the Art Nouveau style. In the early 90s, the house burned down during a fire, but a few years later it was reconstructed at the expense of entrepreneur Larisa Zakharova.
