Pedestrian street Olga Kobylyanska in the center of Chernivtsi is one of the most popular tourist spots. A small street 720 meters long, paved with paving stones and marble pavement, starts from
Central Square of the city. For almost 150 years, the street was called Panska, since 1940 it has been named after the outstanding Ukrainian writer Olga Kobylyanska. By the 600th anniversary of Chernivtsi in 2008, the street was completely restored.
There are several dozens of interesting buildings in O. Kobylyanska Street in different architectural styles: the German Folk House in the Gothic style, the Museum of Local Lore,
Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in the Renaissance style, management NBU - the former coffee house "Habsburg", the educational building of the medical academy in the Art Nouveau style and others.
