For more than 7 centuries, the central part of ancient Chernihiv has been decorated with this stone masterpiece - a small church in honor of Paraskeva-Friday. These mighty walls of the architectural landmark of the pre-Mongol period have not seen any historical vicissitudes! Thanks to the architect and restorer P. Baranovsky for restoring it after another invasion during the Great Patriotic War! And thank you that the square of B. Khmelnytsky, on the territory of which the church is located, has been transformed and now the church is in a worthy frame.→
