Mensky zoo is located in the district center of Mena, Chernihiv region. It was founded in 1975 on the basis of a private zoo, and 8 years later it received state significance. Currently, the zoo occupies an area of 3 hectares, which is home to more than 120 species of animals, many of which are listed in the Red Book. Of particular interest to the public are numerous monkeys.
