The Church of the Transfiguration is located in the village of Moshny, 30 kilometers northwest of Cherkasy. It was built in 1839. The church has an architectural appearance unusual for an Orthodox church: it combines elements of neo-Gothic and romanticism, and a 39-meter bell tower crowns the grandiose structure. The temple belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
