The monument to the dumpling is located in the city center in front of the building of the hotel "Rosava". It was installed in 2006; a 70-kilogram dumpling was prepared especially for the opening. The ceramic monument represents the Cossack Mamai, the founder of Cherkasy, holding a glechik (vessel) with dumplings. Behind him is a giant crescent-shaped dumpling.
