The Krasnogorsky Intercession Monastery is located near the district center of Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region. It is one of the oldest monasteries in the country - founded at the beginning of the 17th century, until 1790 the monastery was male. At present, the temple complex of the convent includes the Transfiguration Cathedral, the Intercession Church, chapels and outbuildings. The icon of the Mother of God of Dubenskaya is kept here.
