Verteba cave (total length - 9 km) has been known since ancient times. Here, a constant temperature of +110C is observed throughout the year, relative humidity fluctuates between 92-100%. There are many bats in the cave. Tools and remains of people who lived 6,000 years ago were found in it. For a large number of archaeological finds, this cave is called the “Nadnestrian Pompeii”. In general, the cave is difficult to navigate, only experienced groups of speleologists are allowed on the routes here.
