Ukraine, Berdychiv
The Roman Catholic Church of St. Clara is an architectural monument of the 20th century of local importance, built in 1913 in the eclectic style with neo-Gothic elements near the lake connected with the Lebedevka River. The initiator of the construction of this, similar to a medieval castle, sights not only of Gorodkovka, but of the entire Zhytomyr region, was the Polish Catholic writer Evstafiy Ivanovsky, who decided to perpetuate the heavenly patroness of his mother. Now the church belongs to the Roman Catholic Order of Discalced Carmelites, near the temple there is a memorial sign with the names of Eustache and Clara Ivanovsky.
