The monument to the dead bikers is located on the 79th kilometer of the highway
Kyiv-
Odessa near the checkpoint before entering Bila Tserkva . The opening of the monument took place on May 26, 2007, on the Orthodox memorial day. The idea of creating such a monument arose in 2004, for 3 years the charitable foundation "Memory of the dead bikers" collected funds for the manufacture and installation of the monument. Motorcyclists from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Poland made their contribution. The monument was created by sculptor Anton Maslik: on a high concrete support topped with a small cross, at a height of 7.5 meters, there is a bronze sculpture of a motorcyclist flying forward with arms outstretched to the sides.
The monument was consecrated by Father Michael from the local
Mary Magdalena Monastery.
