Egyptian Bazaar

Spice Bazaar, Misir Carsisi, Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Egyptian Market, Spice Market, Cape Charshysy
Turkey, Istanbul
The Egyptian Bazaar is the second largest market in Istanbul and was built in 1660. It is located in the old part of Istanbul, in the Eminenu district. The bazaar got its name because the bulk of the spices and spices of that time were supplied from India through Egypt.
Built in the shape of the letter "L" and has 6 gates. There are about 80 shops on its territory, the main assortment of which is spices, sweets, medicinal herbs, oils, sets with different teas, dried fruits (dried apricots, raisins, figs), coffee, various nuts (pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds) and products for hammam .
The Egyptian Bazaar is open seven days a week.

The Mysyr Carshysy bazaar has an entrance, but no exit, because the whole center of Istanbul is a big bazaar. Contrary to expectations, the Turks do not cling to hands and do not beg you to buy souvenirs. Moving around the bazaar is much easier than in similar places in Egypt. The assortment is far from ending with spices and sweets, here you can buy everything from leeches to mops.
