Cave settlements of Cappadocia is a national protected complex of ancient settlements, located in the center of Turkey, not far from Goreme. Unique underground cities were created over many centuries, but were first discovered only at the beginning of the 19th century. The cave complex consists of six underground cities, several rock-cut monasteries and many different churches. Cappadocian temples have preserved a huge number of rare frescoes, some of them date back to the 9th-11th centuries. Rock ground shelters were used not only by monks, but also by the general population. The cave settlements of Cappadocia are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Impressions that just visited another planet. We went from Marmaris for 2 days, the tour was not taken through a guide, it turned out very cheap, only $ 75 with an overnight stay per person. I was very lucky with the guide, his name is Baha, there are just legends about him, he loves history very much and for most of the way he told us everything and answered our questions. The balloon cost $90, but unfortunately that day they did not give permission to fly. I definitely advise everyone who will be in Turkey to visit!.

In September 2019, she visited Cappadocia in Turkey. My dream was to fly in a hot air balloon over the beautiful views in this area. After reading the reviews and talking with local travel agencies, I realized that the average cost of a balloon flight is $ 250 - not cheap, but d. b. very impressive. The guide on the trip announced the cost of 280 euros! She refused to fly, but paid for the transfer to the observation deck, from which you can see how many balloons rise into the air. As a result, the balloons were inflated, but the takeoff was banned due to strong winds.
