Since the photo that won the competition was taken in our beloved Oludeniz, my husband and I decided to go there. The hotel was chosen not very expensive - Marcan Beach. The hotel is small but very cosy. Lots of greenery and palm trees.
We are not fans of staying in a hotel, because Oludeniz is the place where you need to walk, climb mountains, admire its beauty, enjoying breathtaking views. There are a lot of beautiful, wild bays in Oludeniz, with unreal color water, but unfortunately every year these bays become crowded, which makes us very, very sad.
If earlier, when we came, we went down the mountains to the bays, there were no people, but now, in almost every of them there are people, or villas are being built.
The main attraction of Oludeniz is the Blue Lagoon beach. Due to its location, the sea here is always calm and warm. If you are not a hotel guest on the beach, then the entrance to the beach will be 4 liras. You will have to pay extra for sun loungers and parasols. The entrance to the water is gentle, so there are a lot of couples with children.
Is it worth going to Oludeniz? My answer is definitely worth it. This is a place where you want to return again and again.
