This spontaneous walk around Kaleiç i "made" our weekend in Turkey unforgettable. Now this is a "must visit" place for all our tourists who are sent to Turkey, Antalya region.
We were on an info-tour in May, the program is very rich, 10 hotels a day. The final point of our stay in Turkey in the info-tour was Kemer and we decided to spend our last day in this hospitable and so beloved country not at the hotel. On the highway in Kemer, we boarded a regular bus and quite quickly and cheaply - for 6 lira per person we drove to the central bus station of Antalya. Then we took a taxi, another 15 minutes of travel at a cost of $ 9 for everyone, and we are there!
Intuitively, everything is clear where to go - navigate in the direction where the sea is, and winding narrow old streets with cafes and souvenir shops, almost deserted, will themselves lead you to an observation deck overlooking the bay with a pier for yachts, boats and pleasure boats.
Here we had lunch in an excellent restaurant overlooking the bay. They asked for dishes not in portions according to the menu, but to set us a "Turkish table" for 5 people. VERY tasty, with beer the bill came out at about 1000 rubles per person (5000 rubles for five in terms of rubles, convenient payment by card). Further, everything is also simple - do not get lost: go towards the "city", moving away from the sea. Soon the mosque will be visible, focus on it, and the road will lead to a square with tram tracks, horse-drawn carriages and a boulevard with shopping arcades on both sides: shoe and knitwear stores, LC Waikiki and Defacto clothing supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, large shopping centers.
For us, this "twist" was a pleasant surprise and an opportunity to combine an excursion with shopping. They took their soul away, bought some and back in a large 7-seater taxi car drove to Kemer to the hotel for 55 dollars.
Taxi in Antalya is very easy to "call" in the city. You don't need to call anywhere.
At large stops, they themselves are on duty, there is an information stand indicating the distances to the main cities and the cost of the trip. There are special poles with a button to call a taxi - feel free to press, and voila, in 3 minutes the car will be served.
