We have never seen such a dirty beach anywhere. Garbage is everywhere. Cigarette butts, packaging, bags, bottles, leftover food, even watermelon and melon rinds. Packages and candy wrappers float in the sea. That's horrible!! ! Very disappointing. Didn't expect this from Turkey. Were in many places in this country, including city beaches, but have not seen such a dump anywhere else. Sunbeds with dirty, worn mattresses, umbrellas with holes. And this is a paid service. Particularly dirty beaches are numbered 1.

I visited Cleopatra Beach for the first time in my life on 12.07. 2020. I am currently resting here! Since Russia is banned from entering due to quarantine, there are practically no people! Very good!! ! I love it when there are no crowds of people! The sand is cool, crunchy, but dirty with debris. Pigs are everywhere. Of the minuses - closed locker rooms and a toilet! The Turks have completely ceased to respect tourists. But in vain)))

The water is clear and warm. Coarse sand. The most beautiful ships. Our hotel was 15 minutes away, in Kanakli. Minibuses go one by one, the fare is 4 lira.

Cleopatra Beach - a very beautiful beach, sandy, better than the one we had near the hotel. And what a story... ! Cleopatra beach! Just the name! Our hotel was a 15 minute bus ride from the beach and we were there every other day. By the way, with the bus that runs every 10-15 minutes, you can get there easily! The water is clear and warm. The beach is free, you only need to pay for an umbrella and sun loungers. There are many cafes on the beach, so if you do not plan to return to your hotel for lunch, but enjoy the beach, sun, sea all day, then here you can also eat tasty and at an affordable price.

According to legend, Cleopatra Beach in Alanya is a gift to the queen from Mark Anthony, who was in love with her. It turns out that the Egyptian beauty was very fond of soaking up the emerald water! Here is what the Egyptian queen looked like according to Turkish sculptors: It is believed that coarse golden sand was brought here especially for Cleopatra from the Nile Valley. It almost does not heat up in the sun, does not cause burns and does not contain fine dust (therefore, the water in the sea always remains clean and transparent).

The sand is coarse, turning into medium flat stones (under water). There are areas with a stone flat bottom, but there are not many of them. Closer to the mountain with the fortress, the sand is fine (imported? ), but it smells of mud there. The views are great both during the day and at night. Opposite the ataturk park, along the shore, there are outdoor exercise equipment every 50 meters.

Nothing supernatural supernatural, unexpected or unforeseen. Nice, tidy beach, clean, tidy. We liked it, but the legends and stuff didn't add any pluses to this place.
