Alanya Archaeological Museum was founded in 1967 and is located near the famous Cleopatra Beach. The museum is divided into two large sections: archeology and samples of ethnographic art. In the department of archeology, you can see a collection of ancient Roman and Byzantine glassware, bronze, marble and baked clay. The department of ethnographic art presents household items, jewelry, clothing, weapons that were found in the city of Alanya and its environs. But of particular interest in the museum's collection are the rarest floor mosaics made in the 2nd century AD. e.

Peacocks walk in the yard

A good collection with interesting exhibits, the museum itself is also quite nice. Peacocks walk around the courtyard. The cost of the entrance ticket is low and justified.→
