Skif el-Kala - a fortress gate in the form of an elongated winding 21-meter corridor, combining the functions of a portal and a fortification, leads to Cairo Square. The gate was built in the 16th century, after the departure of the Spaniards, and was the only entrance to the Fatimid palace. Stairs lead to terraces with views of the city and port.
