The museum is located in an old sanctuary dedicated to Saint Sidi Zitouni. The building was built in the local architectural style, topped with domes, covered with green tiles with carved decorations of ceramics and plaster, and paved with ancient terracotta tiles.
It contains a collection of jewelry, ceramics, samples of traditional wood carving, as well as a collection of folk costumes of the inhabitants of Djerba. In the utility room, a pottery workshop was restored with all related accessories - a wheel, tools, etc.
