I must say right away that this was my first visit to a Buddhist temple. Then I happened to visit some more, but I will never forget the first impression : ) Firstly, you will be asked to take off your shoes, it is customary to walk barefoot in Buddhist temples - one of the tourists joked about this - "so that everyone gets sick with one fungus" : ) It is not customary to walk in socks, only a bare foot. It is customary to leave shoes at the entrance to the temple. The tiled floor pleasantly cools the feet after the hot sun outside. How to behave in the temple? First of all, be respectful. It is not customary to speak loudly or on the phone here. The general feeling of the temple is twofold. Firstly, there are a lot of artificial things - plastic flowers, pictures, some kind of puppet, toy. Although I suspect that this is the whole point. The main image of the Buddha did not impress either in size or execution. In general, the impression is that I got into a doll store and everything here is not real.
But I liked the tradition of gluing gold foil : ) Tourists are given the opportunity to purchase foil and stick it to the statue - "for good luck. " As a result of such actions, some statues are plastered with decent pieces of gold. There is also a beautiful small area, everything is well-groomed, clean, pleasant. And to top it off, there is a good observation deck from the top of the temple, where you can take panoramic photos of the complex.
