A skyscraper located in the Bang Rak business district in Bangkok, Thailand. After being built in 2001, it became the largest building in Southeast Asia at that time. The total area of the building is 300 thousand square meters, the height is 247 m, the number of storeys is 68 floors.
Conceived in the early 1990s by Thai architect Rangsan Torsuwan and designed by Rangsan Architecture, the massive building features a massive golden dome and neoclassical balconies. The building was originally called Silom Prison Tower, then RCK Tower, after which it received its modern name. The construction of the building was suspended in 1997 after the Asian financial crisis, but after a few years it was continued.
The skyscraper houses condominiums, apartments, offices and a hotel. Inside the building there is a forty-story atrium and on the 64th floor is the Scirocco restaurant, which is the world's highest outdoor restaurant.
