Saudi arabia, Mecca
Mount Arafat (translated from Arabic as "Mountain of Knowledge") is located 20 km from Mecca, in the center of the plain of the same name, which, in turn, is closed on all sides by a mountain range. It is waterless and devoid of vegetation. The height of Mount Arafat is about 60 meters, at its top there is a minaret. According to legend, it was from here that the Prophet Muhammad delivered his last sermon. Standing on Mount Arafat is the culmination of the Hajj ritual.
