The Kingdom Center skyscraper is located in the center of the city. The 99-storey building with a height of 311 meters was built in 2002. It has an original design: in the upper part there is a void in the form of a parabola, so the skyscraper resembles a giant needle. Inside the building there are 41 high-speed elevators, 22 escalators, many shops, a hotel and a mosque, and on the top floor there is an observation deck.
