Masmak fortress

Masmak Fortress is located in the city center south of the National Museum of Saudi Arabia. It was built in 1865. The rectangular fortress has 4 watchtowers and a high observation tower, inside there is a mosque and a well. Since the 80s of the 20th century, a museum has been located in the Masmak fortress.
