The Arboretum Park was founded in 1892 by the Ryazan nobleman and art critic Khudekov S.N. The area of ​​the park is about 48 hectares. There are more than 2,000 exotic and rare plants in the reserves, which were brought from different parts of the world. In addition to the flora, the Arboretum Park is proud of rare animals and birds. In 1978, a cable car was opened on the territory of the reserve, from the height of which a beautiful panoramic view of the park and the city opens.

A very beautiful place
We visit the arboretum every time we visit Sochi and every time we never cease to be amazed at the diversity and beauty of plants. And the air and the fragrance of plants! I think that it will be interesting for both adults and children.→

Very interesting place!
A good place to go to Sochi on the first day of rest. Firstly, it is located right in the city, not far from the center (by bus 10 min). There you can take a walk, see southern plants and beautiful architectural monuments on the territory of the arboretum. And at the top there is a clearing from where you can see the city and the beautiful prospect of the sea. Secondly, the entrance to the arboretum is inexpensive, only 350 rubles, and you can walk at least all day. You can use the funicular, which will take you to the highest point of the mountain arboretum, you will need to pay extra for this.→

In general - good.
Inexpensive entry - 250 rubles per person - this is a plus. Hiking up the hill and downhill - for everyone. There is a lift (for 200 rubles one way - a little expensive). Nice, fresh. Suitable for those who love hiking. But the best option is to go up on the lift and walk down. There is a beautiful view of the city on the hill, another arboretum is also located below (they also check tickets there, by the way) There is also a small, but still a variety of animals. With kids it's a great option.→
