Pleasantly neglected now the estate of the princes of the Lopukhins and Gagarins, the patrimony of Ivan IV the Terrible, Boris Godunov and Peter I. Apostles Peter and Paul (1750). A small regular park formed by avenue plantings of majestic lindens and oaks, with surviving fragments of cascading ponds, is certainly one of the first arranged manor yards in Russia.
