Tverskaya Street (from 1932 to 1990 - part of Gorky Street) - the central street of Moscow. It goes from the Kremlin (Manezhnaya Square) to Triumphalnaya Square (Mayakovsky), where it passes into First Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street (in 1932-1990, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street was also part of Gorky Street).
On Tverskaya there are metro stations Okhotny Ryad, Tverskaya, Pushkinskaya, Mayakovskaya. Tverskaya is one of the most expensive shopping streets not only in Moscow and Russia, but throughout the world. It is also the center of nightlife and entertainment.
