Museum Walk in the Dark

Walk in the dark
russia, Moscow
The museum was opened in 2016. The purpose of the project: to acquaint visitors with the world of blind people. Guides here are blind or visually impaired people, during the tour they help to adapt in the hall, acquaint visitors with the exhibits. There are two halls. The “dark” hall is completely immersed in darkness and is divided into five locations: visitors will have to cross an impromptu street, visit a spice shop, a bar, a museum and an apartment. In Svetly, visitors will enjoy an educational program about the life of blind people. Children from 7 years old are allowed with their parents. The museum is always full of visitors, so the administration recommends booking a visit in advance.

The children reached the long-awaited trip into the dark, the famous excursion in total darkness - Walk in the dark. We arrived from Mozhaisk for one day in Moscow, to walk around the city and on an excursion. Tickets were bought in advance by booking them on the website. The very idea of such an excursion is very relevant, and should show children what the world is like and that despite the difficulties of life, there is always a way out. The tour lasts 1 hour, we went in one group and another guide, by the way, a blind guy.
