Izmailovsky Park is a monument of gardening art, one of the largest and most environmentally friendly parks in Moscow with an area of 1534 hectares. The park was created in 1931 on the site of the former country residence of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, until 1961 it was named after I.V. Stalin. It consists of two parts separated by the Main Alley: the Izmailovsky Park of Culture and Leisure (PKiO) and the Izmailovo Natural and Historical Park.
In Izmailovsky PKiO visitors can enjoy: 5 tennis courts; archery range; amusement sites; training town, chess and checkers pavilion, basketball and volleyball courts; playgrounds for mini-football, streetball and badminton; cable car park "Panda Park"; the oldest and second tallest Ferris wheel in Moscow; interactive playground for children and adults "Forest of Wonders". In winter, the Silver Ice skating rink is flooded, illuminated ice figures, an ice labyrinth and tubing slides are installed.
On the territory of the Izmailovo forest park there is the Izmailovo (former Tsarskaya) Apiary, with a pond and a log palace, here are the historical remains of the 17th century dam on the Serebryanka River, the Round Pond with a boat station, several cascades of ponds, some of which are used as a place of rest.
