Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 - the main object of the Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow, opened on May 9, 1995 on the day of the 50th anniversary of the Victory. The museum has a significant collection of exhibits from the war: military equipment and weapons, uniforms, awards, photographs and newsreels, documents and letters from the front, posters, paintings, sculptures and graphics, six dioramas are dedicated to major military operations. Concerts, meetings of veterans, scientific conferences are held in two cinema-concert halls of the museum.
In 2003, a chapel was opened on the territory of the Victory Memorial in memory of the Spanish volunteers who died in the Great Patriotic War, and the Church of St. George the Victorious was also located here. On April 30, 2010, the Eternal Flame was lit on Poklonnaya Hill from the Eternal Flame from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden. On December 21, 2010, the monument “We were together in the fight against fascism” was opened, dedicated to the peoples who defeated fascism. On August 1, 2014, a monument to the Heroes of the First World War appeared in the park. Part of the complex on Poklonnaya Gora is the synagogue-memorial "Church of Memory of the Jews - victims of the Holocaust", in memory of 6 million Jews killed during World War II.
In the Victory Park near the museum, an exhibition of military equipment of the USSR, Germany and their allies, who took part in the battles, is unfolded. The dominant feature of the Victory Complex on Poklonnaya Hill is the Victory Monument - the highest monument in Russia.
