The sculpture "White Bride" is a symbol of the city of Gelendzhik, whose name is translated from Turkic as "the city of white brides." The sculpture was installed on the central square of the city of Gelendzhik, on the right side of the main pier in 2010. The height of the monument is about two meters, it is made of bronze and covered with a special solution that protects the monument from the sea air and the hot sun of the resort.

Not really

A sculpture is like a sculpture, a monument is like a monument. But my daughter became interested (of course), took a picture, and tortured me with questions. I looked on the Internet, and even here in the reviews - it turns out in honor of the translation of the name of the city itself. Cool→

I thought that some sad story was connected with the monument, and even saw it in such whiny gray weather. But it turned out that here: (infa from the Internet) "White Bride" is one of the symbols of Gelendzhik, according to one version, the name of the city "Gelendzhik" in Turkic means "white bride" (Turkish "Kelendchik"). The first monument to the bride was erected in Gelendzhik in 2010; it was made of bronze and painted with special white paint. The authors of the monument are A. Polyakov and E.→
