Everyone has a different understanding of the park. For me, this is really a park: perennial trees, shady alleys, benches, many gazebos, grottoes, sculptures, flower beds, paths, birds sing everywhere, you can listen, squirrels run and beg for food. All this creates an atmosphere of relaxation from the bustle of the city. Part of the park, or rather its central entrance and the alley to the source, are the most ennobled, decorated with fountains, but also abound with merchants. And part of the park has many paths and unkempt paths, along which those who want to feel like in the forest walk. Everyone finds his own. By the way, all the old pump-rooms of the springs have been preserved, but closed. You can see them walking in the park. The park contains the upper baths, built by Tsar Nicholas II, and the lower ones, which are currently under restoration. Very interesting mechanotherapy building. The history of this park is interesting. I go to drink water only in this park, where our ancestors drank this water back in the 19th century.
If you have not been to the park, then we can assume that you have not been to Essentuki.
