The Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery is located in the north of St. Petersburg, one of the mass graves of the victims of the Siege of Leningrad and the soldiers of the Leningrad Front. A memorial to the fallen was erected at the cemetery.
In two pavilions at the entrance to the Piskaryovskoye cemetery there is a museum dedicated to the feat of the inhabitants and defenders of the city: the diary of Tanya Savicheva, a Leningrad schoolgirl who survived the horrors of the winter of 1941-1942, is exhibited.
