Moskovskaya Square stretches over 13 hectares, which is why it is deservedly considered the largest square in St. Petersburg. It was built in the middle of the 20th century. for mass parades, demonstrations and other celebrations. Here are typical objects of the Soviet era - a monument to V. Lenin and the House of Soviets. There are squares in the north and south of the square. In 2006, Moskovskaya Square was transformed - a wonderful fountain complex was launched here, which attracts many spectators to its musical evening shows. In our time, this square has become a meeting place, walks and spectacles for citizens and guests of the Northern capital.
