The Singer House is a six-storey Art Nouveau building on
Nevsky Prospekt. It was erected at the beginning of the 20th century. for the Russian representative office of the Singer Joint-Stock Company, which produced sewing machines. This graceful building immediately attracts attention with its unusual appearance and high tower with a glass globe. Inside the building there is a patio lined with colorful glazed bricks and a beautiful atrium. Various institutions have always been located here - commercial banks, publishing houses and even the US Embassy. Now the Dom Knigi bookstore, the cozy Singer cafe with a magnificent view of the
Kazan Cathedral work here, and the rest of the building is rented out for offices.
