Anichkov bridge is thrown over the river. Fontanka is perhaps the most famous and popular small bridge in St. Petersburg. The length of this stone bridge is 54 m, and the width is about 38 m. engineer battalion under the command of Mikhail Anichkov. The decorations of this bridge are the sculptures of P. Klodt “Horse Tamers” and cast-iron gratings with images of seahorses and mermaids. Near the Anichkov Bridge are the Beloselsky-Belozersky mansion and the Anichkov Palace.
