Alexandrovskaya Sloboda is an ancient Russian fortress (formerly a settlement, later a settlement and a funny village - Aleksandrovskoye), now part of the city of Aleksandrov, Vladimir Region.
It has been known under the name "Aleksandrovskaya Sloboda" since the 15th century. This is the historical homeland of the oprichnina. Tsar Ivan the Terrible spent most of his life (about 17 years) in Alexandrov. All the embassies of the great powers (Sweden, Denmark, Austria, England, the Commonwealth) were received here at that time.
