Djerdap is a national park in Serbia. The place is unique for the traveler, because at one point you can see not only amazing nature, but also see a few more sights. The border between Romania and Serbia runs along the Danube. But the main thing is not even this, it is more interesting that the Balkans and the Carpathians meet in this place. If the Romanian coast is the Carpathians, then the Serbian coast is the Balkans. But that's not all. Here, these mountain systems come so close to each other that the place itself was called the “Iron Gate” by the Romanians.→
