Humor Monastery is located in Menestira Humorului, just 4 km from Plesha. This nunnery was built in 1530 by the treasurer Theodor Bubuyog during the reign of Peter Raresh. The monastery has two churches -
Assumption and St. George. In 1535, the outer walls of the monastic complex were painted by master Toma Suchavsky. The frescoes are dominated mainly by red and brown shades. Wall images tell about the terrible judgment, the prodigal son and the capture of Constantinople.
