The National Museum of Modern Art has been housed since 2004 in a four-storey glass building in the Palaces of the Parliament west wing. The museum houses a small collection of works by contemporary Romanian artists dedicated to various types of contemporary art - installations, sculptures, video art and paintings are presented here. The museum also has a library, a conference room and creative workshops. On the top floor of the museum there is an observation terrace with a cafe and a bookstore.
