Transfagaras highway is a mountain highway in the Carpathians, one of the most beautiful roads in the world and an outstanding landmark of Romania. Located in the center of the country, the highway runs through the mountains of Fagaras, reaching an altitude of more than 2000 meters above sea level. This is one of the highest roads in Romania. The Transfagaras Highway is known for its sharp curves and grandiose views of the mountains and forests that surround it.
