I've been wanting to visit this place for a long time and finally got it! Was in January, but still did not regret it. It was raining, there was a strong wind, the ocean was stormy, which created the impression of a special epic. We were brought for about 40-45 minutes, during which we managed to reach the edge, or rather, to the fence, take pictures, go to the store, where there are various souvenirs and expensive knitted sweaters. Some of our group bought personal certificates, and I drank coffee in a restaurant.

Cape Roca is the westernmost point of the European continent, a steep cliff rising 140 meters above the ocean. Here the Atlantic Ocean meets the land and its rocky and deserted shores are born in the battle of the elements. Cabo da Roca is a place of power, here you feel the power of the elements, you feel the salty wind in your face and you hear the intoxicating sound of the ocean, the swift waves of which break on sharp coastal stones. On the rock of Cabo da Roca there is a lighthouse still operating, a stone stele with a cross and the words of the Portuguese poet Luis Camõ es: "This is the place where the earth ends and the sea begins.

Cape Roca (Cabo da Roca) is the westernmost tip of Europe, which is known from the school geography course. The cape is located on the territory of the Sintra-Cascais National Park. The bus from the Sintra station to the station in Cascais and back makes a stop there. A ticket costs 5 euros, you can buy it from the driver when boarding. The cape's coordinates 38°47' north latitude, 9°30' west longitude are carved on a monument surmounted by a cross and erected not far from the cliff. The weather here can be much windier than at the resort.
